Tractor-trailer spills manure on Maine road after crashing into ditch

A tractor-trailer spilled a load of manure Friday evening after crashing in Embden.

Jacob Bryant, 47, of Knox was driving a tractor-trailer on Kennebec River Road about 5:25 p.m. when the front passenger-side tire blew out, sending him into a ditch and crashing into a utility pole, according to the Waterville Morning Sentinel.

The tractor-trailer tipped over, spilled manure in the ditch and across the road, the Sentinel reported.

Bryant was carrying a load of manure from Food Farm in North Anson, according to the newspaper.
